I recently traveled to San Francisco and stayed at the Orchard Hotel and wanted to share a review of this sweet boutique San Francisco Hotel.
Location
The Orchard Hotel is literally walking distance from restaurants and more importantly, a stone’s throw away from the San Francisco trolley and shopping.
I was not traveling for leisure this trip but walked only a few blocks to all the action after work every evening. It was a fantastic walk and just steps away from everything a tourist traveling to San Francisco would want to see.
Extra points to this San Francisco hotel because the Trolley line went right by the hotel and it was such a sweet San Francisco touch.
Comfort
The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean! My room was a king bedroom and had a nice clean stand up shower and a nice sized closet.
Gym
The gym was small with limited equipment; included a treadmill, bike, elliptical and a few free weights. I did work out during my three-night stay in San Francisco and I found the equipment to be good enough to feel satisfied.
Staff & Service
A bellman greeted me when I walked into the door both day and night. And the front desk staff gave me a warm towel and a smile upon check-in. The map of local attractions was also a nice touch. A quick look at the map confirmed that this San Francisco hotel was right in the middle of the action.
Restaurants
I did not eat at the onsite restaurant, but it was beautifully decorated and the restaurant bar was open late.
