We are done! I mean like done done! And unless God Himself does some miraculous implanting… we are done having more kids.

Our parenting is not getting any better!
Don’t get me wrong we aren’t bad parents. We are probably about average! LOL! We love our kids with all our hearts! We do our best to provide all their physical and emotional needs. But at some point you get tapped out. Kuddos for the parents who can do more than 4… and no shame if you decide you are done at one child. There have been a few times when all the kids are yelling out demands, and my husband and I look at each other; without saying anything we say… You done? Good cause I am done too! LOL
My body said uh-uh
I have been very fortunate in that I have figured out the formula for getting my body back into decent shape after each pregnancy. Although I look like a shiny new car on this outside, on the inside I am a beat up ‘ol sedan. I pee when I jump or run, my breasts are pancaky and the bags under my eyes can not take another year of sleepless nights.
Had enough cake
Here is the catch! There are definitely moments when all the kids are laughing together or when dinner is straight out of the pages of a Hallmark card and we all sing the opening number to our favorite cartoons in unison. It’s at those moments I think… we could TOTALLY do one more! Then I remember that feeling when you eat cake.. The most deliciously decadent cake you ever had. And you enjoy that first piece so much you go in for a little more… and that piece is so so good to, and you repeat and repeat… and eat so much cake that eventually you have a headache and a belly ache and you might even throw up! LOL Well we have decided to stop before we over do it.
For us, that magic number was 4. We have not totally closed the door to more kids, as we may choose to adopt another little boy in a few years. Even if we decide to adopt, this baby making factory is closed for business.
