Mother’s Day is coming! And Mother’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I feel so honored to be able to celebrate this day as a mom. I have had the cool privilege of celebrating Mother’s day as both a mom and a daughter so I’ve learned a few things about what moms really want for Mother’s Day. Below are three things your mom really wants this Mother’s Day, I am excited to share this list with you.
Tip #1 – This Mother’s Day, Your Mom really wants… You to be thoughtful
Your mom can totally tell if you grabbed a last minute gift for her. After all, she IS your mom. So don’t run to the grocery store on the way to her house, it’s going to be super obvious. What your mom really wants is for you to be thinking about her in a way that honors the fact that she carried you on top of her bladder for almost an entire year. LOL

Tip #2 – Your mom really wants…. Alone time!
Please keep in mind that not all good gifts cost money, a phone call and a visit can go a long way. BUT… what your mom really wants is some time alone! Trust me on this one! NO mom will ask for time alone for mother’s day because it seems rude, but if you gifted her a few hours completely to herself to do absolutely ANYTHING she wanted to do, she would be so pumped about it!
She also would love one of the coupon books that included “alone time” in the book for her to use another day. That would be awesome too! {Someone please forward this blog post to my husband hehe!}

Omg. In the end , if I really want something I have to try to buy it for myself. My hints seem to not work out very well. I’m not sure if I’m super deserving of anything , but I am a hard working mom. I’m a nurse that has demanding shifts on my body. I’ve been injured from a work accident for almost 6 years with no fixing the problem in sight. I would love a thoughtful gift that I didn’t have to really ask for. My daughter is a full time elite competition dancer and we’re going to nationals in Orlando. All of our money, and I mean ALL is going towards this expense.
