Today is day two of my “Holiday Guide to Gift Giving” series. I thought I would keep things rolling by featuring this Jord (pronounced Yoad like toad) watch.
Initially, my plan was to give this gorgeous watch to my husband as a Christmas gift, but let’s just say curiously got the best of me and now he’ll be getting two gifts. LOL But my wife-fail is your total gain! Hehe (You can watch my quick unboxing video here.)
To be honest, I often buy my husband a watch for Christmas, and he has certainly never complained. I suppose I could best equate it to if he were to always gift me a luxury handbag. I mean seriously? Sign me up! Before receiving this Jord watch, I had never seen a wood watch in person. Well, let me tell you this watch is even more stunning in real life. I loved it because the beautiful natural tones blended so nicely on his skin. He loved it because it was unique, lightweight and functional. I also liked that I could have it engraved with a custom note. I choose to put “Super Hero without a cape” because not only is he a firefighter, but he is an all-around amazing man! I often plow through life 1 million miles per hour and he always sits patiently in the passenger seat and warns me about oncoming flying objects with a smile. LOL
